SYNOPSIS: Joe Gardner is a middle school teacher with a love for jazz music. After a successful gig at the Half Note Club, he suddenly gets into an accident that separates his soul from his body and is transported to the You Seminar, a center in which souls develop and gain passions before being transported to a newborn child. Joe must enlist help from the other souls-in-training, like 22, a soul who has spent eons in the You Seminar, in order to get back to Earth.

Soul out performed my expectations by miles, I thought it looked good but never knew it would be near perfection. The animation was astounding, it was gorgeous and the character designs were stupendous and so original especially the designs of the souls, the Jerry's, and Terry. The writing was remarkable especially the story, it was beautiful, touching, deep, and shows us that no matter what we do the most important thing in life is to just be happy and that there is no right answer of how to live our lives just that to be happy with what we do with our lives. I loved how original the concept was for a Pixar and animated movie, it was outstanding. The music was exceptional, one of the best musical scores of all time. The voice acting was phenomenal especially from Tina Fey, Jamie Foxx, Rachel House, Alice Braga, Richard Ayode, Phylicia Rashad, and Angela Bassett. Soul is one of my top 5 favorite movies of 2020, my 2nd favorite animated movie of 2020, and one of my favorite movies of all time, definite A+.
